We spent years in finance, in Monaco, where good software is just assumed. The first time we really looked at a container terminal, we couldn't believe what the operators were handed every day. The banking app in their pocket was better than the system they ran the whole terminal on.

We build for the people who actually run the terminal
The people on a terminal aren't software people. They're crane operators, gate clerks, dockers. For years the industry handed them systems from another era: no app on a phone, screens crammed with fields nobody needs, weeks of training to log a single move. So an owner would buy a new system to fix the terminal and end up with something harder to use than before.
We came from sectors where the software is sharp, so the holes in container logistics jumped out at us. You couldn't ask the system a question. It didn't run on a phone. A new hire needed weeks before they could read the screen. We started Teux in 2022 with one rule: build the terminal system we'd want to use ourselves.
What drives us is simple. A terminal worker goes home, picks up their phone, and everything just works the way they expect. Then they come back to a screen from 2005. We want that gap gone. The software someone runs a terminal on should be as good as the apps they use the rest of the day, and we'll keep pushing until it is.

OUR STORY
From a 3D yard map to a transshipment engine
Every release put more of the terminal inside Teux. This is the order it happened.
2022
The first build
Container storage accounting + basic 3D yard. The whole yard on one screen instead of paper and a whiteboard.
Late 2023
The client portal
Traders and forwarders got their own login, and the calls to the desk dropped.
Early 2024
The paperwork
Document automation and EDI with the shipping lines. Acts, EIRs, and line reports started writing themselves.
2025
Rail and billing
Rail operations and rate-card billing. A wagon, a stored lot, and an invoice line became one record.
2026
The transshipment engine and AI
A flexible transshipment engine that bends to any scheme, grain to bulk to containers, plus an AI assistant you can ask in plain language.
